Allergy Testing

As some of you know, i am going in for allergy testing on Tuesday and Wednesday. I'm a big needle phob and could use some prayers. I will be excited to know what exactly i'm allergic to so that i maybe can avoid breaking out in hives and getting some nasty meds every year.

That's part of what's going on in my life, anything interesting in y'all's?

  1. Will be praying...is this a test where they take blood or where they stick millions of needles into your back and arms??

  2. Leah, thank you for those two vivid thoughts. Ummm. it depends on how things go. I know its a sticking needles thing, but probably taking blood too. GRRR!
By the way, i think you should post some pics!

  5. Hey, just remember that I've been through people drawing 5 or 6 HUGE vials of blood and thinking I was going to bleed to death!!! lol, it was really cool to watch them stick the needle in. Can I come watch you?? I can give you some moral support... :)

  6. Well if your moral support is anything like it is on here, no thanks. I get queesy on my own. One day down, another to go. I didn't cry when they took blood or pricked my back. I was close though when they did my arm and i almost passed out. but i survived and will try to tomorrow as well.

  8. My goodness sounds like a pretty bad time. I think I would much rather them take a ton on vials of blood than stick tons needles in me.

    Prayin for ya!
